Welcome to the American Academy of Thermology Atlas portal.  AAT is proud to present the world’s first online Atlas of Medical Thermology.

Medical Thermology is a visual science requiring skill in pattern recognition of health and disease states.  Thus the Normal Atlas is designed to provide anyone interested in medical thermology with examples of normal thermal images.  This Atlas of Normal Thermology is extremely important, for without knowledge of normal patterns, abnormal thermal patterns cannot be recognized.

The second, more extensive Atlas of Abnormal Medical Thermology, delves further into the thermal patterns found in various disease or other abnormal states that have been collaborated with other medical studies. Major categories include Neuromusculoskeletal, Breast, Oral-Systemic, and Veterinary. While both Atlases are peer reviewed, and anyone can submit cases to either Atlas, only AAT Members may view the cases found within the Atlas of Abnormal Medical Thermology.

Please note that the AAT also offers a Thermology Social Media Site that is open to all for trading comments, knowledge, and images about medical thermology. The AAT Social Media site is simply a place to share with each other in an informal way. The AAT Social Media site is not peer reviewed and comments or posts by users do not necessarily reflect the views of the AAT. We ask that you keep comments brief and pertinent to the science and use of Thermology in medical practice. Please note that the AAT does reserve the right to block or remove content from the Social Media Site that is feels is inappropriate.

AAT offers two separate Medical Thermology Atlases and a Social Media Site:

• The Atlas of Normal Medical Thermology is open to all users.
• While anyone can submit a case to the Atlas of Abnormal Thermology viewing the Atlas of Abnormal Medical Thermology is restricted to AAT members.
• The AAT Social Media Site is open to all users.
