53 YO male with 3 month history of constant numbness in the RUE to the 4 & 5 fingers. EMG/NCV WNL. Cervical MRI with multilevel DDD and severe facet arthropathy in the presence of posterior disc displacements at C45 followed by C67 and bilateral cervical foraminal stenosis. PT, Chiropractic and cervical EIS did not provide relief. Upper body Sympathetic Skin Response (cold stress) study with thermal monitoring revealed an asymmetry pattern over the medial aspect of the arm and forearm, a cold region over the right scapulothoracic joint, and a localized hot spot over the right Omohyoid. Stellate ganglion block brought resolution of symptoms.
