High Grade Carcinoma in Situ on Right

42 YO female who originally presented for musculoskeletal pain and then requested breast thermographic examination during her course of care.  Findings were read as TH5 on right and TH4 on left. As a result of the findings, she convinced her primary breast health provider to order a Breast MRI which showed a 3.2 cm non-mass enhancement in the central slightly upper right breast for which an MRI guided biopsy was recommended.  Pathology results demonstrated a ductal carcinoma in situ, high nuclear grade.  She was offered several options for care and elected to have bilateral mastectomy. This case is presented as her breast radiologist became a breast thermography advocate stating “all my imaging studies would have missed this”.
